Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable math tutors to teach elementary, middle, and high school students. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of math concepts across different grade levels and the ability to engage students in a remote learning environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct One-on-One or Group Sessions:  Provide personalized or group tutoring sessions in math, addressing the specific needs of each student.

Develop Lesson Plans:  Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles and goals of students.

Assess and Track Progress:  Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help students improve and achieve their academic goals.

Communicate Effectively:  Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding progress, challenges, and any areas needing improvement.

Utilize Technology:  Use online teaching tools and platforms effectively to facilitate a productive learning environment.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field or naturally talented math students or students already enrolled in a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. A teaching credential or certification is a plus.

Experience:  Previous experience tutoring math at elementary, middle, or high school levels is preferred. Experience with online tutoring platforms is a plus.

Skills:
  – Strong understanding of math concepts and curricula.
  – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  – Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and needs.
  – Proficiency with online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).

Availability:    Flexible hours, evenings, weekends.
 
Preferred Qualities:
– Patience and enthusiasm for teaching.
– Ability to motivate and engage students.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
